Indy Parks
Broad Ripple Park also offers a wide range of recreation and community activities managed by Indy Parks. Visitors can swim at the pool, use the dog park, play sports, visit the playground, or take part in programs at the Family Center. The park also hosts concerts, classes, camps, and other events throughout the year. Visit Indy Parks for current schedules, programming and more!.

The White River
The White River runs along the edge of Broad Ripple Park and has shaped the park throughout its history. Visitors can enjoy views of the river from the park, walk along the riverfront, or use the public boat ramp to get on the water.
The river also supports birds, pollinators, and other wildlife found throughout the park.
Native Birds and Flowers
Wildflowers add color to the park and provide food and habitat for insects, birds, and other wildlife. Different plants bloom throughout the growing season, so there is often something new to see.
Friends of Broad Ripple Park volunteers help care for planted and natural areas by removing invasive plants, maintaining gardens, and supporting native plants.

★★★★★
The Friends of Broad Ripple Park have made a significant impact on our community. Their dedication to preserving the park’s natural beauty and providing recreational opportunities for families is truly commendable. I have participated in several park cleanups and events, and each time, I leave feeling inspired and connected to nature. The scholarships for summer camps have also allowed many children to experience the joy of the outdoors. I wholeheartedly support their mission and encourage others to get involved!
